Postpartum Doula Services

Everyone deserves to feel cared for after the major experience of giving birth! In the past, families and communities took care of new families by offering their healing wisdom, advice on nursing, help with childcare, emotional and physical support, as well as the the provision of food. In our modern day and age, the support circle for new families is tragically missing for most. Having a postpartum doula is wonderful way to bring the personalized, nonjudgemental support into your home. The goal is to share knowledge and experience with you, to learn about your preferences, to understand your philosophy and values, and to assist you in developing your own unique way of parenting that works for you, you partner, and your baby. In addition, a postpartum doula offers a great deal of practical support, ideas, and comfort to ease your transition into parenthood.
